Calcium and Magnesium
Many people do not understand these important minerals and how they work in the body. Calcium is supposed to be stored primarily in the bones and teeth. However when we have a diet rich in acidic foods like sweets, alcohol, juices, soft drinks, flour, corn, soy, dairy etc or if we are under a lot of stress, then we are heading towards a state of “acidosis” of the body. One of the body’s defense mechanisms is to leech calcium from the bones to try to balance the acidity in the blood and arteries (this is the body’s attempt to maintain a homeostasis position or alkaline position). This is the reason that many people with a diet high in sugar end up with atherosclerosis due to calcium in the arteries which is like having tiny bones built up in your arteries otherwise known as plaque. This restricts the flow of blood leading to high blood pressure and high levels of cholesterol. It can also lead to osteoporosis, arthritis, alzheimers, diabetes and even cancer.
The sad truth is that most of us grew up thinking that we need to drink cow’s milk and eat yogurt to get the calcium that we need but as those foods are acidic to the body – they actually do the exact opposite – they cause the body to leech calcium from the bones to create a balance in the body.
Many people attempt to take calcium as a supplement instead of getting calcium from alkaline sources like green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, and spinach as well as almonds, sesame seeds, and soft-boned fish, like sardines and salmon.
The body requires magnesium to maintain energy and vitality. When magnesium is deficient in the body, the body forms lactic acid. Low levels of magnesium are associated with migraine headaches, nervousness, insomnia, and heart palpitations. So, it is important to get adequate sources of magnesium.
Low magnesium levels are often diagnosed by symptoms alone, and the following symptoms can point to low magnesium levels:
Inability to sleep or insomnia
Irritability
Sensitivity to noise
Mental disturbances
Anxiety, depression or restlessness
Muscle soreness or spasms
Infertility or PMS
High levels of stress
Headaches
Heart “flutters” or palpitations
Fatigue or unusual tiredness
Coldness in extremities
Fuzzy brain or difficulty concentrating
Allergies and sensitivities
Lack of appetite
Back pain
Body odor
Bad short term memory
Poor coordination
Insulin resistance
Carbohydrate cravings
Constipation
Frequent cavities or poor dental health
Gut disorders
Kidney stones
Thyroid problems
What we need is a supplement to move the calcium from the arteries into the bones and teeth where they belong, as well as magnesium to alleviate the above conditions.
It is finally here – Vitamin K2 is not abundantly found in nature and it is found in traditional Asian dishes like fermented Natto. In the Western diet it is almost completed left out.
Introducing Just Thrive Vitamin K2-7 supplement with Magnesium that does a few things – It pushes calcium out of the arteries and into the bones and teeth as well as it is loaded with magnesium. This supplement is fermented so it is easily absorbed by the body and works quickly to relieve pain, lower cholesterol, improve cardiovascular health, build strong bones and teeth, helps with sleep and even helps with menopausal symptoms like hot flashes along with improving the above list of deficiencies associated with low levels of magnesium.
It is always recommended to take the K2-7 with Vitamin D3 as they work hand in hand, the vitamin D3 pulls the calcium from the soft tissues and the vitamin K2-7 pushes it into the bones and teeth where they belong. This drastically reduces overall calcification in the body.
Tracy Lee Son –
As a Certified Health Coach, I am very careful to recommend products to persons. I always try the products first. I never sell anything that I do not use myself, If it is not good enough for my family is it not good enough for my clients.
This particular product has impacted my health personally and improved the life of so many of my clients as well. I used to suffer with creaky knees and I had sensitive teeth. I knew that my bone density was being affected by these simple symptoms. I started using the Just Thrive K2-7 and those symptoms have gone away. I decided to do a bone density test after using it for some time as it is one of the tests that I often recommend to my clients and to my great pleasure, the attendant told me that she had not seen readings like that in years. They do what is called a T and Z score, one compares you to an average 25 year old who is at the peak of bone density and the other compares you to someone your age, race etc. Well I am 26% better than the average 25 year old and 37% than the average 49 year old. She even asked me for the supplement. Since then I have recommended this product to my clients with fantastic results.
